NEW FOR 2017:
Online entries are preferred. If not entering online, all exhibits must be pre-entered on the General Entry form and additional forms are needed for dairy, livestock, rabbits, goats, and poultry (available in the Fair Office). Mailed animal entries must be post-marked by June 30. Return all general entry forms and fees to Lebanon Area Fair: 80 Rocherty Road, Lebanon, PA 17042 by July 7.
The Lebanon Area Fair has thousands of exhibits each year – and we hope you’ll enter your own project this year! Classes range from livestock, dairy, horse, and small animal shows, to flowers, fruits, and vegetables. There are classes for every kind of craft – sewing, knitting, macrame, beading, painting, photography, woodworking, and more! Children 10 and under can enter the coloring contest at no charge. Entries are due to the Fair Office or online by July 7.
Important: 2017 Entry Deadline is Friday, July 7. Entries must be returned to the Fair Office or postmarked by July 7 to avoid late entry penalty fees.
How to enter:
Read the catalog. Find a class(es) that interests you. Fill out a General Entry Form and return it to the Fair Office (either by mail or in person) by the entry deadline. Or, submit your entries online. If you’re entering an animal exhibit, you’ll also need an animal entry form (separate forms exist for livestock, dairy, rabbit, and poultry entries; horse entries are coordinated through the Extension Office) and a vet form. Be sure to also read and follow the health rules and regulations that apply to animal entries.
Indoor exhibits (non-animal) should be delivered in person to the fairgrounds (West Hall for most entries; flowers to Center Hall) on Friday, July 21 from 3-9 p.m. or Saturday, July 22 from 7-9 a.m. Quilt entries must be delivered Thursday, July 20 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Please keep the claim tickets you receive at check in, you’ll need them to pick up your projects at the end of the Fair. After delivering your exhibits, it’s time to patient while the judges sort through the many entries. West Hall reopens to the public on Saturday, July 22 at 4 p.m., where you can find out if your project won a blue ribbon, or even better, a Best of Show!
Animal exhibits arrive on the Fairgrounds at different times depending on the species and breed. Please see the catalog for more information.
